Supervisor Candidates to Meet in Online Forum on Environmental Topics

The three candidates competing to become Huntington’s next town supervisor will meet Wednesday online to debate environmental and sustainability issues.

The forum, hosted by the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, will feature Democrat Rebecca Sanin, Republican Ed Smyth and independent Gene Cook.

The candidates are looking to succeed Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci. Both Cook and Smyth are members of the Town Board.

The election is Nov. 2. Early voting begins Saturday.
