A Laurel Hollow woman, 31, is recovering from a case of Covid-19 after developing such symptoms as an upset stomach and muscle aches in her neck and spine. Concerned about not exposing her sister, who has cystic fibrosis, she at first isolated herself at home for a week and a half.
But when her heart started racing, and she felt winded, she called the emergency room at Huntington Hospital and then went in.
