The screening is a 10-minute oral test which consists of a series of questions and/or tasks designed to test memory, language skills, thinking ability, and other intellectual functions.
Participants will receive reading materials and, depending on their score, information for their primary care physician. The screenings are conducted by qualified healthcare professionals.
To date, AFA has screened over 5 million people nationwide.
The screening is set for Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins welcome.
