The Farm Italy Opening on Gerard Street

Huntington’s newest restaurant, The Farm Italy, opens officially for reservations on Wednesday.

Owned by the same group that has Besito, Ballo and the Shed, the restaurant is at 12 Gerard St., adding to the Mediterranean vibe of the area, with the Greek restaurant Noema directly across the street.

The restaurant describes itself  as “a striking neighborhood restaurant and cocktail bar that brings the simplicity, beauty and seasonal freshness of local Italian dining.”

It offers a menu of pastas, including penne, raviol and, cacio e pepe, plates with branzino, prawns, cacciucco with mussels, squid, shrimp, fish, potato, escarole, puttanesca, and crostino, and veal.  For those who favor beef, boneless ribeye and Double R Ranch New York Strip lead the menu.
