Three Kings Day Celebration Scheduled in Huntington Station

Huntington Assembly of God will host a Three Kings Day celebration on Thursday, sponsored by Housing Help Inc.

The event will last from 4 to 6 p.m.

Three Kings Day, or the Epiphany, is celebrated as by Christians as the day the three wise men first saw baby Jesus and brought him gifts.

Toys, nonperishable food, snacks, and housing information will be distributed.

The theme of this year’s event is “Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants.” Suffolk County Sheriff, Dr. Errol D. Toulon, Jr. Residents will be provided with information
about evictions, foreclosures and how to prevent them.

Additionally, they will be provided with information about other community programs available. These resources aim to inform landlords and tenants of their rights
and obligations. Also, to aid in improving the communication and understanding between landlords and tenants to prevent homelessness and foreclosure.

This event will be fully drive-through, though walkers are welcome. The distribution will begin at the East14th Street entrance of the Huntington Assembly of God parking lot. Cars can enter on East 13th Street to line up on Eat14th Street and walkers can line up on the
sidewalk of New York Ave.  Party 105.3 and La Fiesta 98.5 will provide music, with light refreshments, and toys donated by various sponsors.
