Thunderstorm Watch Remains for Huntington

A handful of power outages were reported around Huntington Monday afternoon after a thunderstorm swept through the area. Several people reported flickering lights or a temporary loss of cable service as well.

More rain could be on the way. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until Monday at 8 p.m. The National Weather Service said that showers and thunderstorms could continue, with some storms producing gusty winds and heavy rain, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
