Huntington comes in second on a list of great fall travel destinations, according to USA Today.
Florence, Italy, tops the list of 19 recommended destinations, ranging from Bergen, Norway to Auckland, New Zealand.
The article says, “Pleasant temperatures, reduced rates and foliage make Huntington a great autumnal getaway.”
It goes on to cite Oheka Castle, Caumsett State Park, and the town’s sense of history and nostalgia as reasons to visit.
