The Huntington Town Board voted Wednesday to approve a winter farmer’s market starting Dec. 5.
The market will operate on Sundays through March 27, at the John J. Flanagan Center gym at 423 Park Ave. The hours are 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The board also approved:
The ceremonial renaming of the town to “Hauntington” in recognition of Halloween on Oct.31.
On a 5-0 vote, a contract for professional ice skating instruction at the Dix HIlls Park Ice Rink in 2022.
A donation from Poillico Inc. and Roger Ambroisio Paving to provide the materials, labor and equipment to repave parts of existing golf car paths at Crab Meadow golf course.
