Officials and veterans broke ground Tuesday on a project that will provide 14 units of owner-occupied, low-cost housing for military veterans.
The Columbia Terrace project, on the west side of Lowndes Avenue near Columbia and Railroad Streets in Huntington Station, is expected to be completed by September 2019.
Bayport-based Lipsky Enterprises, Inc. will build the housing.
The Town Board approved funding for the project in July.
