Town of Huntington Students Awarded College Degrees

Local students have recently completed their college study and been awarded their degrees.

Bucknell University

Bucknell University presented degrees to over 800 graduates at Commencement in May.

Located in Lewisburg, Pa., Bucknell University is a highly selective private liberal arts university that offers majors in the arts, engineering, humanities, management, and social and natural sciences, along with broad opportunities outside of class, to its 3,600 undergraduates.

Clarkson University

 Clarkson University awarded over 800 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to students this spring. (More than 400 students also received degrees earlier in the past year.)

Luke Dylan Konrad Gries of Commack, NY, received a bachelor of science degree with distinction in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University in May.

Oscar David Aguilar-Cruz of Huntington Station, NY, received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University in May.

Brittany Kara Schwartz of Dix Hills, NY, received a master of science degree in physician assistant studies from Clarkson University in May.

Joseph Marshall Stockman of Northport, NY, received a bachelor of science degree in engineering and management from Clarkson University in May.

Jonathan Thomas Ahrens of Northport, NY, received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University in May.

Although the current government directives made Clarkson’s usual May commencement celebrations in Potsdam not possible, the University’s current plan is to hold on-campus commencement ceremonies on August 15 with the finalization of those plans by June 30, based on current health directives.
