The Town of Huntington is looking for volunteers to help clean up RoberHt Kubecka Memorial Garden, starting Friday.
Community service credits will be awarded to students.
The town said that portions of the garden have become overgrown or abandoned.
Volunteers can bring their own tools; the General Services Department will also provide some tools. Volunteers are asked to wear gloves, long sleeves and long pants.
Students in need of community service hours must bring their own form from the school or organization requiring the community service credits to be signed off on by a representative from the Town.
