Town Senior Center Gets New Sign

The Town of Huntington Senior Center unveiled a new sign on its building last week.
“The Town of Huntington Senior Center is a lively meeting place for our active senior citizens and the new sign matches the big welcome our seniors and staff offer our community,” Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci said when he stopped by.

The Town of Huntington Senior Nutrition Center first opened its doors on March 18, 1974. Its goal was to provide a nutritious meal and enjoyable activities for all Town residents over the age of 60.

Forty-four years later, they have two locations, nine clubs, and over 2,500 members who participate in the lunch program, activities and educational programs.
