Volunteers were busy wrapping presents as parents came to Tri-CYA Monday to collect toys for their children.
The distribution, a combined effort of Tri-CYA and Family Service League, provided two presents per child in each family. Children ranging from infants to 16 were eligible. The volunteers wrapped presents if parents requested it, Debbie Rimmler, director of Tri-CYA.
The distribution was one of many occurring in the recent days in Huntington. On Sunday, Huntington Station Latin Quarter, run by Lauren and Xavier Palacios, handed out toys to 600 children.
