The Huntington Town Board honored the winners of the 2018 Tulip Festival photo contest at its Tuesday afternoon meeting.
The winners are:
First Place $250 Bhumika Goswami “Standing Tall”
Second Place $150 Ilene Schuss “Field of Fantasy”
Third place $100- Steve Sellers “Tulips at the Pond”
The 2019 festival is scheduled for Sunday, May 5.
Teachers of intermediate and middle school students within Huntington Township are invited to enter the 2019 Annual Tulip Festival School Art Contest. The Huntington Arts Council administers the school art contest on behalf of both the Town of Huntington and the Festival’s chief sponsor, NEFCU.
Artwork is selected by a jury of artists and art professionals. Reproductions of the winning works will be displayed at the Heckscher Museum of Art on the evening of Friday, May 3, and at Heckscher Park during the Tulip Festival on Sunday, May 5.
