Two people were injured in a two-car crash near West 19th Street and Lockwood Avenue Thursday afternoon.
The Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to the crash, which occurred about 1:45 p.m. Both vehicles were heading east toward New York Avenue when the accident occurred. The squad said one of the drivers might have suffered a medical emergency.
One victim, a 52-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to Nassau University Medical Center, a level one trauma hospital.
A second HCFAS ambulance was called to transport the driver of the second vehicle, a 60 year old man, who complained of neck pain. He was taken to Huntington Hospital for further evaluation.
