Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a larceny that occurred at a Huntington Station store today.
Two men stole handbags and accessories worth more than $15,000 from the Louis Vuitton store at Whitman Shops on Tuesday.
Suffolk police said the two men, wearing hats, scarves, sunglasses and gloves entered the Louis Vuitton store inside Saks Fifth Avenue at the Walt Whitman mall at 3:25 p.m. and took six Louis Vuitton handbags and accessories. They fled in an unknown vehicle.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
