Before the parade step-off, school and town officials will participate in a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. for the murals at the Long Island Rail Road underpass on New York Avenue,  which were painted by students, parents and staff from Birchwood Intermediate School.

At Stimson, events will include a fair, rides, food, music and other fun. Brett’s Bicycle Recycle, which refurbishes bicycles to donate to those in need, will partner with the Huntington Community First Aid Squad for the giveaway and raffles of items donated by people in the community.
