University at Albany Names 3 World Ambassadors

ALBANY, NY (06/15/2018)– World Ambassadors are rising sophomores who have completed a year in one of the University at Albany’s Living-Learning Communities (L-LCs) and demonstrated leadership within their communities. World Ambassadors have strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a track record of academic success.

World Ambassadors must be nominated by the L-LC faculty and are then selected and trained by Student Engagement. They provide leadership and transitional assistance to new freshmen who are entering Living-Learning Communities. Student Engagement, housed in the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, selected 40 World Ambassadors to support new L-LC freshmen in fall 2018.

Michael Harvey of Northport
