A man who was found unresponsive in an inground pool in Fort Salonga Sunday afternoon died Friday night, Suffolk County police said.
Edwin Campos, 39, of Copiague was pronounced dead about 8 p.m. at Huntington Hospital, police said.
He was found in the pool about 1:10 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Northport Rescue performed CPR on the victim, and he was taken to Huntington Hospital
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
