Update: Nassau County police have identified a Huntington Station man who was killed Friday by a car in New Hyde Park.
Daniel Sandstrom, 50, was struck and killed by a vehicle at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Jericho Turnpike.

A Garden City motorist was arrested Saturday and charged with killing a pedestrian from Huntington Station, Nassau County police said.
According to police, Steven Moscatiello was eastbound on Jericho Turnpike about 11:45 p.m. Friday when he struck the man at the intersection of Cherry Lane in New Hyde Park.
The victim, who was 50, died at the scene. He was not immediately identified.
Moscatiello is charged with Vehicular Manslaughter 2nd Degree and DWI.
The investigation is ongoing.
