A Huntington man is offering a $5,000 reward for the return of his French bulldog, Stella, who was stolen from his home Thursday.

Matthew Hauck said he had left his Robin Lane home in West Hills Thursday to go to a family dinner. He said the burglary occurred between about 4 and 9 p.m.

He believes the burglar or burglars, who also took a PlayStation 5 and some games, entered the home from a balcony; all doors were locked, he said.

Stella is 4 years old, and weighs 19 pounds. She is microchipped and has a little bit of fur missing from her tail from a medical procedure. She is on medication, which the burglars didn’t take, Hauck said.

Stella never runs out into the yard, and would not have leapt off the balcony, he said.

The reward for Stella’s return will be paid no questions asked, he said.
