Upper Room Christian World Center Honored

Huntington Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci  recently recognized Upper Room Christian World Center for their Mercy House Food Bank initiative on behalf of the Town of Huntington and Governor Andrew Cuomo.
“I’m honored to be here to give recognition to the Upper Room Christian World Center and your congregation for the generous sacrifices you make on behalf of our community, including the amazing outreach initiatives of Mercy House for thousands of families in need,” said Supervisor Lupinacci, who  read a letter praising the congregation from Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and presented proclamations to Upper Room Christian World Center on behalf of the town and the governor.
Upper Room Christian World Center operates the Mercy House Food and Clothing Pantry, open seven days a week. Volunteers help with physical and spiritual needs, offering prayer and personal support. Mercy House delivers warm meals, healthcare items, groceries, and much more to families in need.
