All veterans are invited to Veterans Services Day, sponsored by American Legion Post 1244 and the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center.
Scheduled for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Walt Whitman High School, the event will connect veterans with service providers, human resource representatives and other not-for-profit organizations, including several government agencies.
Among the participating agencies are the Northport VA Medical Center, Touro Law, Pfc. Joseph Dwyer Peer Support Project, Suffolk County Veterans Agency, and St. Joseph’s College Military and Veterans Affairs.
Lunch will be provided and an auction will be conducted.
