The addition of new stores at Walt Whitman Shops continues apace, with the opening of the Warby Parker eyewear shop on Saturday.
It is the second Warby Parker location on Long Island.
The store will offer eye exams and carry optical and sun eyewear.

Artist Kristin Texeira worked with the company to create a large-scale mural for the store using a “color of music” concept, melding art and music. The mural features a patchwork of similar shapes that vary in color depending on the song that inspired them, with each song title listed directly below its corresponding color form. Among the choices is Blue Nile by Alice Coltrane. Customers can check out the full playlist on Spotify here.
