Warm Weather Arrives

Temperatures are expected to hit the mid-80s Thursday, with warm weather continuing through Friday.

The National Weather Service is warning about the potential for brush fires to spread, with relative humidity falling to 20 or 30 percent. Winds are expected to remain at 10 to 15 mph, occasionally gusting to 20 mph.

The NWS said Thursday afternoon that the day was the hottest day in April in more than a decade.

There’s a slight chance of rain Saturday and Sunday. But nothing like what Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is experiencing.
