Long Island Rail Road service between Penn Station and Huntington will be reduced to hourly this weekend because of trackwork.
The LIRR ssaid it is testing a new signal system designed to support East Side Access at Harold Interlocking in Queens, a pivotal step in the progress toward East Side Access.
Service between Port Jefferson and Huntington will run every two hours.
