Wind Gusts Knock Out Power in Huntington

PSEG-Long Island reported about 100 customers without power Monday morning as heavy winds combined with frigid cold hit the area.

Most customers are expected to have their power back on by 2 p.m.

Windy conditions are expected to continue until 7 p.m.

If your power fails, text OUT to PSEGLI, report it online at http://spr.ly/6181EOvn9 or call 800-490-0075.

Temperatures in the single digits and low teens along with blustery northwest winds will result in dangerously cold wind chills. Wind chill readings as low as -14 degrees are possible through the morning. Make sure to bundle up and wear a
hat and gloves if you go outdoors.
