Wind, Rain Leave Their Mark

A handful of Huntington customers were without power Tuesday night as a thunderstorm passed over the area, threatening more wind and hail. PSEG-LI said power would be fully restored by early morning.

The quickly moving storm blew in from the west, bringing black clouds and wind to the area.

It brought down a large part of a tree at Appletree and Elmtree Lanes in Huntington Station.

An earlier warning of a severe thunderstorm was lifted about 6 p.m.
