Wishing Happy Thanksgiving to All

A variety of businesses and public officials are wishing Happy Thanksgiving to Huntington residents.

Here’s a sampling.

Huntington Supervisor Chad Lupinacci

“Happy Thanksgiving!

“Tomorrow, many of us will be gathering with our loved ones to give thanks for the many blessings bestowed upon us, even in this difficult year.

“Please remember to protect yourself, your family and the greater Huntington community on Thanksgiving.

” Stay 6 feet apart and wear a mask with family members who do not live in your household.

“Wash your hands frequently, before and after cooking and eating.

“Avoid shaking hands or greeting with a hug or a kiss.

“Sanitize cell phones, remote controls and high touch surfaces daily.

“Stay home if you are sick.

“Stay safe and healthy. Happy Thanksgiving!”

US Rep. Tom Suozzi

“Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for the gifts God has given me. I am grateful for my family, my health, our country, and the great honor of serving as a member of Congress where I can fulfill my life ambition to help people and solve problems.

“Instead of our usual 20-30 person gathering, there will only be 7 of us this year. We lost Helene’s Dad to COVID in the Spring and her Mom is behind closed doors in an assisted living facility. We, like all of you, will make do, calling family and friends and using Zoom and FaceTime and we will reflect on all the ways we have been blessed.

“Here is to you and your family. I wish you God’s continued blessing and pray for those who are suffering during these challenging times. May peace be with you.

“As challenging as this year has been, I know we are so fortunate to live in this time and in this wonderful place that is America. Let’s recommit ourselves to gratitude and to the work necessary to build back better.”

Attorneys James and Lisa Leonick

“Wishing our clients, family, friends and their families a Healthy and Happy Thanksgiving Holiday.”

Deb Porretto and Lisa Karrer, Brett’s Bicycle Recycle

“As we all prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, this year it will be with small and safe at home celebrations. We know that by keeping people that we love safe now, we will be able to gather our family and friends to celebrate together next year. Please stay safe everyone. We are looking forward to once again enjoying some fun events in mid 2021.

“Thank you to everyone who helped us Recycle it Forward!”
