Wok and Roll Restaurant Ready to Debut

Wok and Roll restaurant is opening Friday, offering an updated and clever take on Asian dishes with a musical flair.

Owner Chris Quirke is working with head chef Chris “Geo” Huang on the menu, which the restaurant describes as “signature stir fry and more” offerings.

The outside wall of the restaurant at 11 New St., bears a dragon against an  orange-and-red background, with Andalauz the Artist creating the colorful mural.

The menu lists items with rock themes, such as Born to Be Wild, Hotel California, Barracuda and Stairway to Heaven, and the option to “Build Your Own Wok Box,” around choosing several items from different categories.

The restaurant will open without tables, preferring takeout options for now.
