A woman was shot early Wednesday morning in her home in Greenlawn, Suffolk County police said.
The 28-year-old woman was on the second floor of a home on Stuyvesant Street, near Broadway, when she was struck in the hip by one of several gunshots fired from outside the residence at approximately 12:10 a.m. The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries.
