Zoning Board to Take Up Parking Addition, Gas Station Requests

A plan to add parking spaces to the grounds of St. Anthony’s High School will come before the Zoning Board of Appeals Thursday.

The school is requesting a waiver to allow the lot on the “front yard” of the property between Wolf Hill Road and the school building. If approved, the school would add 112 parking spots, increasing total parking on campus  to 697.

The board will also hear requests to allow two properties at Round Swamp Road and Jericho Turnpike to be developed together to create a combination gasoline station and 7-Eleven convenience store.

The board meets at 6 p.m. at Huntington Town Hall.
