Huntington lifeguards have begun heading off to college, leading to limitations on what beaches will stay open for the rest of the summer.
Starting Saturday, only these beaches will have lifeguard coverage:
- Asharoken Beach
- Centerport Beach
- Crab Meadow Beach
- Hobart Beach
- Quentin Sammis West Neck Beach
No swimming will will be permitted at beaches without lifeguards.
Asharoken will not have lifeguard coverage starting next Saturday.
