Church of Scientology Buys Melville Property

An office building in Melville has been sold to the Church of Scientology, Long Island Business News reported Thursday.

The 62,500-square-foot office building at 263 Old Country Road was sold for $15.2 million. The two-story office building, with parking spaces for about 250 vehicles, was vacant; the previous occupant, ADI Global, relocated to 275 Broadhollow Road in 2021, LIBN said.

This was the group’s first major  commercial real estate acquisition on Long Island, LIBN reported.

The office building sits on 5.5 acres.

    Would you have more information which legal corporation of Scientology acquired the property? Was it “Church of Scientology International” or “Church of Scientology Long Island”?
