Utility crews spent much of Sunday repairing the damage after a woman crashed her car into two poles on New York Avenue.
Suffolk County police blocked off traffic along New York Avenue between Main Street and Gerard while the work went on.
A witness said the woman said she had fallen asleep and crashed into the two poles.
There was no further information immediately available.
