‘Draw Out’ Art Festival Offers Music, Dance, Art

Heckscher Museum will again host Draw Out, a festival for artists of all ages.

The Sept. 17 festival is free and no registration is required. In addition, the first 100 participants will be awarded free art supplies.

Activities include watercolor painting by the pond, live music, sketching a live model, a dance performance inspired by the Global Asias show at the museum and a chance to connect with the Art League of Long Island, Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, Huntington Arts Council, Huntington Asian American Task Force, Huntington Fine Arts, Huntington Historical Society, Huntington Public Library, and Vanderbilt Museum & Planetarium.

The festival will run from noon-5 p.m. at the museum and park.
