An Easter Egg Hunt, organized by age groups, will bring dozens of children to Elwood Park on April 1.
Sponsored by the Town of Huntington and Suffolk County Second Precinct police, the hunt will start at 9 a.m. for children ages 3-4; 10 a.m. for those who are 5-6, and 11 a.m. for children ages 7-8.
The event is free but registration is required to participate. It is subject to cancellation because of weather.
Families should bring their own bags or baskets for children to use while collecting eggs.
As of Thursday morning, there are still slots available in each age group.
Easter falls on April 9 this year and April 16 for Orthodox Christians.
