Suffolk County police officers, community volunteers and a restaurant handed out about 300 meals Tuesday in Huntington Station.
The giveaways were organized in response to the sudden loss of jobs resulting from the Covid-19 epidemic.
Some of those seeking help walked up to the donation tables, while about others in about 60 cars waited in line to come into Manor Field Park.
