A veterinarian who has provided care for pets awaiting adoption will be honored Sept. 6.
The Give a Dog a Dream fundraiser, to be held at Del Vino Vineyards in Northport, will honor Dr. Russell W. Fredericks for his care of animals at Huntington Animal Shelter.
Tickets are $150 per person and support required veterinary care and behavioral training for shelter dogs to prepare them for adoption.
They can be purchased here or at the door.
