Northport resident Matthew C. Brown graduated from DeSales University with a master of science in cyber security during the university’s 53rd Commencement ceremony at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pa.
Father James Greenfield, OSFS ’84, University president, encouraged graduates to be in awe of their family and friends and to practice aggressive friendship-which he characterized as bold, dynamic, and energetic. He also referenced the University’s new branding initiative, which centers around the theme of “connect.”
Taylor S. Gill, of Fort Salonga, received a degree from Clark University during the University’s 118th Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 22. Gill graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
The University awarded 577 bachelor’s, 489 master’s, and 25 doctoral degrees and conferred four honorary degrees during two ceremonies; graduates were urged to always ask questions, move forward with confidence, and have the moral clarity to make courageous and meaningful decisions.
Emma Bockrath of Northport graduated from Moravian University with their Bachelor of Music. Bockrath joined other students in a ceremony on Moravian’s campus in the Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse for the ceremony marking the conclusion of Moravian’s 280th academic year.
