Revelers packed Huntington Village Saturday, celebrating the lighting of a giant Christmas tree, viewing or joining in a parade, and shopping as part of Small Business Saturday.
Santa Claus was the star of the parade, but Grinches, adults in animal costumes, children wrapped as Christmas presents, firetrucks, holiday-suited men on bikes, snowmen, dogs, and many others marched the route into the village and to Wall Street where the tree lights flashed on.
The holiday festivities will continue through Jan. 1. Entertainment and activities, including a holiday market, will vary from day to day. Be sure to check the schedule.
