Anyone wanting to run a commercial landscaping business in Huntington must register with the Town of Huntington for a permit.
There’s a non-refundable fee of $50, which includes a decal for the first vehicle.
To apply by mail, send a completed and signed Landscape Registration application, copies of all required documents and a check with the appropriate fee, made out to “Andrew P. Raia, Town Clerk” and mail to:

Commercial landscaping is defined as “The business or trade of rendering any landscaping
services, as defined herein, either as principal, independent contractor, or through an
agent or employee, for a fee, charge, or other compensation, to or for the benefit of any
owner, tenant, or occupant of any lot, plot, or parcel of land.”
