Councilmembers Joan Cergol and Dr. Dave Bennardo announced the 13th Annual Hunting-Tony Awards nominees in a live broadcast on Monday, May 1, from the Town Board room at Huntington Town Hall.
The Hunting-Tony Awards, also known as the “Hunting-Tonys,” celebrate the fall plays and spring musicals from the Town of Huntington’s nine public high schools and honor the casts, crews, and school personnel that make them happen. Each year, a collective of volunteer judges choose nominees in various performance, technical, and design categories.
The red-carpet event and award ceremony celebrating the Town’s talented high school thespians will be held on June 5, at 7 pm at the Huntington High School Auditorium
