The League of Women Voters of Huntington plans to recognize several organizations for their civic contributions and get out the vote effforts.
Throughout next week, the league will present plaques or certificates of appreciation to:
- Connoisseur Radio
- Paramount Theater
- Five Towns College
- Cinema Arts
The league will also honor Joann Raia, former town clerk and registrar.
All recognized will be awarded a plaque and/or certificate of appreciation presented by the LWV Huntington President Lizbeth Thalheimer. Because of the pandemic, presentations will be made to each awardee at their place of business.
