The Suffolk County Legislature is inviting college-level students to apply for its page program.
The ten-week educational internship program provides an in-depth experience of local government and the importance of civic engagement.
Pages will participate in a mock Legislature, and attend Committee and General Meetings. They will be assigned to a Legislative District office working alongside a legislator and their staff.
The program encourages a positive understanding of local government and the day-to-day operations of the Legislature and other departments in Suffolk County government.
