The Huntington Town Board has scheduled a vote for Tuesday to consider whether to rename a street in Melville.
The resolution, sponsored by Councilman Sal Ferro, would rename Deshon Drive to HH Pramukh Swami Drive/Deshon Drive. The Hindu temple BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, is located on Deshon Drive.
