New York Axe celebrated its opening with a gathering of members of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Tuesday night.
The networking reception was preceded by a ribbon cutting for the business, which opened in September, at 325 Main St., Huntington. The event incuded a chance to toss an axe a few times in hopes of winning a gift card.
Owners Carl Mazza and brothers Danny Simone and Mario Simone, said that business has been good since opening, drawing a crowd of customers who mosty range in age from 18 to 35. The business aso hosts parties and corporate events.
It is open Monday-Wednesday 4-10 p.m., Thursdays, 4-11, Fridays and Saturdays noon to midnight and Sundays noon to 8 p.m.
