- Unity Day parade
Huntington celebrated Unity Day Saturday with a parade, a festival, and a visit from the state attorney general.
High school bands, including Huntington, Walt Whitman and Commack, provided music as elected officials, community organizations, school groups and social groups marched from Huntington High School to Stimson Middle School. At Stimson, the marchers joined in wth a festival underway that provided fun, health screenings, food trucks, games for children, classic cars and more.
