Pets: These Dogs Need Your Help

Lots of pets are available for adoption around Huntington.

Here are a few this week:

Meet Reina
American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix, Adult, Female, Medium
Reina was taken out of a shelter where she was dumped. She lived there for 6 months and now is in a foster home. She’s mostly lazy but sometimes spunky. Her foster family is teaching her a lot and how to be a polite member of a family. She is playful with other dogs but pretty bossy. She is very affectionate which is one of her best attributes.

Meet Fiona
Labrador Retriever, Adult, Female, Medium
A seven year old Labrador mix, Fiona knows that “sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith”. She has traveled a long way via the Passage to Freedom program in hopes of finding her perfect family and forever home. Though a bit shy, her curiosity often wins out, and she enjoys going for walks and exploring her surroundings. She also loves to snuggle, and despite her size, will climb right into your lap.

Meet President
Schnauzer Mix, Adult, Male, Medium
A nine year old Schnauzer mix, this “Commander in Chief” is President. A bipartisan, he enjoys everyone’s company, even his feline constituents. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and knows how to get things done. When he is not on office duty, he enjoys being out and about, greeting the public while walking by your side. President is campaigning for a forever home and is hoping you’ll see all his fine qualities and offer him a long term commitment.
