Restaurant 110 Japan to Shut Down

The restaurant 110 Japan Sushi Hibachi Lounge announced on Facebook Wednesday that it would be closing its doors, apparently in a lease dispute.

But the Huntington Station restaurant  said it would look to move to a nearby location.

“While this chapter may be coming to an end, we want to assure you that it is not the end of our journey. Our intention is to relocate locally as soon as possible, to a new space that will offer a more modern and inviting ambiance. We firmly believe that this move will enable us to better serve the quality food and exciting Hibachi experience you have come to know.”

It said that gift cards would be honored until June 30 at its Huntington Station site, and after at its Bay Shore location.

The restaurant has been running in at 179 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station for nine years.
